Cowes Week Regatta

The largest regatta of its kind in the world! This year’s race boasts of forty daily races with over 1000 competitors. With so many entries, this race provides adrenaline from start to finish. Whether you cheer for the white group (dayboats) or the black group (larger boats with cabins), or both, this race will not disappoint. This race is a viewer’s paradise, with several different platforms to observe all the action. With the size of venue come other benefits, such as sponsorship perks and freebies. This is the race that often defines all others.

Industry Sailing Challenge

Sailing around the clock! No time for a kip during this gruelling race. Even though this race is early in the season, you will still see teamwork and sailing expertise in an extremely challenging environment. Early season races usually have smaller crowds and allow for bargains for lodging as well. Enthusiasm is high as things get into motion in the intense world of Yachting competitions.

Ovington Inland Championships

A premium late season view inland! With a close proximity to shore this event offers a full panoramic view for the sailing fanatic. 6 different categories provide the optimal experience for both participant and spectator. This venue has long been a great training site for world class competitors and it’s an event that boasts many up and coming female sailors. If you have been a spectator too long, this is perhaps the best event for the novice sailor to get their feet wet.

Craftinsure Filey Regatta

High quality fleets in an un-spoilt venue! This event in Scarborough sponsored by the Filey sailing club is a must attend yacht race. Noted for its high swells and intense westerly winds, the race course provides challenges unique to its geographical setting.

Challenging weather patterns, high seas and fierce competitors, make participating a splendid delight.
