About the Editor

Hi, I am Jane Warren, and I love the water! There are many water sport activities that I enjoy, from scuba diving and snorkeling, to tubing, rafting and boating. I also love to swim, and competed in my first one (1) mile swim last summer. I own a boat with a friend, and we enjoy pulling family and friends on skis and towable tubes. We have lots of exciting memories of the fun that people have had being towed behind our boat on one of our inflatable tubes. In fact, one picture shows me and some of my girlfriends on two of our towable tubes – I am the one smiling! The other picture is our boat, with some happy gals who had just spent a great afternoon out on the water.

My husband, Jim, and I spend several months each year at the beach – primarily in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, B.W.I. We love that Caribbean island, and of course, we have lots of family and friends that love to visit us there! Grand Cayman is where we do most of our water sport activities: the weather is great, the water is warm and calm in our area, and the days are long, giving us plenty of time to play outside.

Jim and I learned to scuba dive after we started visiting Grand Cayman. That was 1998, and it was a great, fun trip; the night dives were especially exciting! Before we bought our boat, we would dive with local dive masters, and had the chance to dive all around the island. I even did my “shark dive” on the East End of Grand Cayman, which was a highlight for me. I actually have the video to prove it!!! I have 250+ dives logged on my dive computer, and look forward to logging many more.

My favorite song is about the beach. “Some Beach” was written by Paul Overstreet, and recorded by Blake Shelton. Paul is a friend of ours, and we were fortunate enough to attend the BMI party in Nashville when the song hit #1!  Click for the You-Tube video:  “Some Beach” by Blake Shelton.

So my website, www.towabletubesdirect.com, is all about towable tubes, and other boat towable items, like skis and wakeboards.  The site also provides reviews and information on boating and water sports related items, such as marine GPS units, waterproof radios, fishfinders, waterproof cameras and other boating items. My team provides information, pictures, videos, and pricing that will help you make the best decision for your family and friends enjoyment.

Redhead and Cruella relaxing

I have two (2) kitty cats, Redhead and Cruella, who live with me in Atlanta, Georgia – they don’t like the water! Jim and I both came from large families, so we are always involved in family events. We are also fortunate to have a great group of close friends that love to socialize and travel. Together we have traveled to many foreign countries, including Portugal, Italy, England, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Greece, Croatia, Turkey, Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Kenya, Dubai, South Korea, China, Peru, Chile, and Argentina. Recently we visited friends in Alaska, and then I traveled with the “girls” to Boston and Nantucket – another “water” trip, ferrying from Cape Cod to Nantucket. Our latest “girls” trip was to Oregon, where we went white water rafting, and whale watching – more fun time on the water.

I also enjoy writing about the water sports, and some of my travels. One of my articles on white water rafting was recently highlighted in the travel tips section of USA Today.

So enjoy the site, and contact me if you need any assistance. See you on the water!
